Homeowners are routinely asked to make expensive heating decisions using inconsistent advice. Airwarm exists to reduce that uncertainty: to translate technical requirements into clear choices, design around the property rather than the product, and stay available after the installation is finished.

Airwarm is a new heat-pump business, built on more than 17 years of experience working in customers’ homes through TJR Plumbing & Tiling Solutions, a Which? Trusted Trader. Airwarm installations begin in April 2027; Home Energy Assessments, Desktop Engineering Reviews, heat-loss surveys and system design are available now.
The Airwarm approach is straightforward: understand the home first, design the system properly, document the decisions and remain involved after installation.
Thomas Robinson, Founder & Director
Airwarm is being set up by Thomas Robinson, who is responsible for its technical standards, the way it is run and the quality of the work it puts its name to. He is the director of AIRWARM LTD, which is registered in England and Wales.

Thomas’s background is TJR Plumbing & Tiling Solutions, a plumbing, bathroom and tiling business based in Baildon, Shipley, with more than 17 years of experience in the industry.

It is practical experience of finished work in occupied homes, not of selling equipment — and it is the standard of preparation, tidiness and respect for the house that Airwarm is carrying into heat pumps.

Airwarm works in partnership with Ample, who provide the MCS framework and compliance route behind installations delivered through the partnership. For eligible projects, Ample also manages the Boiler Upgrade Scheme process and the required DNO application or notification process. Eligible air-source heat pump installations can receive £7,500 through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, subject to the current scheme rules and the individual property and project. Airwarm is not MCS certified itself, and we will not describe it as though it were.
What does not change is who you deal with. Airwarm remains responsible for your survey, the engineering design, the installation and the aftercare. The partnership adds an additional layer of independent compliance oversight alongside Airwarm’s own engineering and design process.

How the work is delivered
Qualified contractors where they are needed
Electrical work is carried out by appropriately qualified contractors where required, working to Airwarm’s design and coordination. Subcontracting does not move Airwarm’s responsibility to you onto somebody else.
The people who install take part in the survey
Where practical, whoever would do the work is involved in or reviews the survey. It removes the gap between what was promised and what turns out to be possible.
Aftercare as a service, not a favour
48-hour contact, a two-week comfort review, seasonal optimisation where required and an annual service reminder. It protects your outcome and it tells us what to design better next time.
Limits stated out loud
No general public emergency call-out service. No work outside our competence. No properties outside the service area. No projects where a genuinely necessary upgrade is refused.
Evidence and transparency
Airwarm is building its track record openly. We publish what can be checked now, and we do not manufacture reviews, case studies or credentials to make a new company look older than it is.

How will my installation be MCS certified?
Through our partnership with Ample. Ample provide the MCS framework and compliance route behind installations delivered through the partnership, while Airwarm carries out your survey, the engineering design, the installation and the aftercare.
That is not the same as Airwarm holding its own MCS certification, and we are not going to blur the two. The documentation that applies to your project is set out before you commit to anything.

Who does the electrical work?
A heat pump is a substantial electrical load, so the incoming supply, main fuse and consumer unit are all checked at survey. Electrical work is carried out by appropriately qualified regional electrical contractors working to Airwarm’s design and coordination, and where the network operator needs to be involved Airwarm will say so early.
Does Airwarm offer emergency call-out?
Not to the general public. Airwarm does not run a 24-hour emergency call-out service, and will not imply otherwise.
Existing Airwarm customers get a response within 24 hours. Where an existing customer has a genuine system fault that cannot be resolved remotely, emergency support or attendance may be provided as appropriate. That is a commitment to respond, not a guarantee that someone will attend within 24 hours. If you are not yet a customer, we normally reply within 2 working days.

The Home Energy Assessment takes a few minutes, asks for no photographs and gives you an honest first view of whether an air source heat pump is worth exploring for your property.
